Sweet Baby Michael

Yesterday we buried our sweet baby Michael, just one day after he was born. We found out Thanksgiving day that he was no longer with us and went in for induction Friday morning. He was a perfect little boy with an unfortunate heart condition. We are so grateful to our Father in Heaven who has blessed us so much through this hard time. Our arms are empty, our hearts ache, but our blessings are abundant.

  3. Hil the caption was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes... it reminded me of my sweet baby nephew we lost 5 years ago...due to a birth abnormality. You remain in my prayers...what a sweet boy to have all of you.. he was truly blessed.

  9. I came here from Marta's blog; I am so very, very sorry. We will be praying for you and your family. One phrase that helps me in sadness is "always blessings, never losses." Many hugs to you in this difficult time.

  11. I also followed the link from Marta's blog. I am so, so very sorry for your loss. We lost a baby recently as well, but were not far along, who also was not developing as should be. I am inspired by your faith and pray that through it you and your family are comforted.

  19. Oh Hilary, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my identical twins, Sophia & Ellie, in April. It is a very difficult road to travel, but please know you do not have to do it alone. There are many wonderful women bloggers who have lost their babies and they have been a great support to me. I hope you can find comfort from them too. Thinking of you and your sweet Michael. xx

  20. I am so sorry to hear this! I was linked over from Sherbet Blossom but wanted to express my sincere sympathy.

I know there is a support group for parents of children with heart defects- and they have a special group for 'Angel' parents. It's called Intermountain Healing Hearts (a friend of mine belongs). I'm sure you could find parents there to gain support from in your grief. I'm so sorry you have to endure a trial this hard.
